Conservative Rohit Grover has won the Hampstead-Garden-Suburb by-election.
Cllr Grover won 5,015 of the public votes and will take over from former Tory councillor Danny Seal, who stood down last month.
In second place was Labour candidate Janet Solomon, who received 1,667 votes.
Liberal Democrat Altan Akbiyik polled 423 votes, Green candidate Adele Ward 418 and Barry Ryan, UKIP's candidate, 194.
