Whatever happens in the General Election, beyond a shadow of doubt Andrew Dismore is the candidate to vote for in Hendon.
He really should have been our MP in Parliament, now defunct since his ‘defeat’ in the last election, which was a prize piece of jiggery pokery of rare vintage. As our MP throughout the previous 13 years, he worked tirelessly and assiduously for every one of his constituents.
He energetically championed every good cause, and was sensitive to the needs and peculiarities of each section of Barnet’s multi-cultural electorate, positively and fairly.
Our borough never had a more dedicated advocate to serve its citizens. Especially in times like these, when we are burdened with a council whose policies and performance leave very much to be desired, to put it mildly.
We can certainly do with a national representative of the stripe and hue of Andrew Dismore.
