A canine-human partnership crowned a week of tail-wagging adventures at a summer camp with an award.
Abbey Haycock, of Potters Bar, and her four-legged best friend Paddy, took a trip to the Young Kennel Club Summers Camp in Leicester last week.
During her stay, Abbey, nine, learnt how to train Paddy in handling, agility, flyball and heelwork to music.
She said: “I really enjoyed training Paddy as he is very special to me - he is the first dog I ever got.
"We do agility and flyball together and have been awarded the Good Citizen Dog Training Scheme Gold Award. I like walking Paddy and running around, the garden, training him to jump through hoops.”
