A family-friendly pub is set to reopen with a celebratory garden party following a £1million refurbishment.
The Railway Bell, in East Barnet Road, New Barnet, has been closed since mid-June for renovations including a large conservatory, new bar and open-plan kitchen.
Operator JD Wetherspoon has appointed a new manager at the pub, where a revamped garden with decking and new furniture has also been added.
A disabled toilet and a ramp have also been installed to improve wheelchair accessibility.
The pub will open on Saturday, August 10, at midday with a barbecue, jazz music and face-painting for children.
