Rugby is often seen as a game for the young, fit and athletic – but Saracens are looking to branch out to the older generation and encourage over-50s back to the sport.
The club’s Sport Foundation is running free, low-paced training sessions every week in August for former players or those wanting to try out the game for the first time.
Rambling Rugby will be held on the artificial turf at Saracen’s Allianz Park stadium, in Mill Hill, every Friday between 6pm and 7pm.
Organisers say the sessions, arranged in partnership with The City Bridge Trust and Barnet Council, will be held in a friendly, relaxed environment for men and women of all abilities.
The sessions are open to anyone but places must be booked in advance. To book a place, telephone Lewis Sones on 0203 6757 243.
