A secondary school in the middle of constructing a new sixth form block has applied to Barnet Council to increase the size of the building.
Finchley Catholic High School successfully applied to build a new two-storey sixth form block in 2010 but, with construction work now underway, it wants to extend the block further.
An amendment to the original proposals, which is due to be assessed by a planning committee tomorrow evening, would include the building of a new careers classroom in the block.
Barnet Council’s planning committee will assess the proposals at a meeting at Hendon Town Hall on Wednesday evening.
