A Hungarian national has been remanded in custody over the murder of a woman whose body was found in a suitcase.
Laszlo Gyarmati, 29, of Station Road, Finchley, appeared at the Old Bailey today charged with the murder of fellow Hungarian national Alexandra Kovacs from the NW7 area.
The 25-year-old’s body was discovered in a suitcase in woods running alongside Dollis Brook in Thornfield Avenue, Mill Hill.
No bail application was made and Mr Gyarmati has been remanded in custody. A new court date has not yet been set.
