Elderly people were dancing in their seats as they celebrated the launch of a new neighbourhood initiative.
Age UK Barnet and The Good Neighbour Scheme for Mill Hill and Burnt Oak hosted a community open morning at the Annunciation Church Parish Centre in Thirleby Road, Burnt Oak, yesterday.
Dance group Raunchy Rockers encouraged guests to be more active and try out a few dance moves.
People aged over 55 also had the chance to practice Tai Chi and brush up on their computer skills during the event which was part of Age UK Barnet’s new service providing opportunities for exercise, learning and socialising for older people across the borough.
