Barclays Bank in Brent Street, Hendon, was raided by an armed robber
A man has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery at a bank.
Police were called to Barclays Bank in Brent Street in Hendon after it was targeted by an armed robber at 2.45pm yesterday.
A van was stopped on the A406 North Circular road in connection with the robbery and the driver was arrested.
Road closures were put in place and an officers from the Finchley Flying Squad are currently investigating.
