A Community Fund Campaign supported by the Times Series and organised by The Broadwalk Centre in Edgware is set to help community groups in your area.
The Times Series is delighted to announce it has teamed up with The Broadwalk Shopping Centre to help launch its Community Fund Campaign, which aims to support local groups, charities and schools in need of some additional help.
Starting in August, The Broadwalk Centre in partnership with The Times Series will be giving something back to the community by donating an incredible £500 every other month.
Perhaps your scout hut needs a new roof, your school needs some new sports equipment or a local care home would like to revamp their garden. Whatever the cause, we would like to hear all about it.
Details of the three nominations will be printed in the newspaper giving you, the readers, the chance to vote for the organisation you feel deserves the donation the most.
Angela Brooks, centre manager at The Broadwalk Centre, said: “This is a great opportunity for local organisations to gain additional support to improve their services and facilities.
“The Community Fund Campaign is something brand new for us to celebrate our Bags of Community campaign and we’re very excited about how the money that we donate will be able to help local projects and groups. We would like to encourage everyone to come forward and tell us how we can help.”
Charities, projects, schools and groups can nominate themselves by writing to The Broadwalk Centre’s Community Fund Campaign, c/o PMW Communications, Stane Court, Stane Street, Billingshurst, West Sussex, RH14 9HP or by emailing thebroadwalk@pmwcom.co.uk
The deadline for nominations is August 11, 2013 and all we need to know is how £500 could help you.
