Pop stars Chipmunk and Sonique visited young musicians at charity launching a programme of free music workshops.
The rapper and singer visited Mill Hill charity SoundSkool at the Bodens Performing Arts Centre in New Barnet yesterday to meet some of the participants in the new project.
SoundSkool, based at the Mill Hill Music Complex, provides a series of workshops including DJing, MCing and music production.
Wednesday’s launch marked the announcement the centre will now be open five days a week, providing free music training and education to young people between the ages of 16 and 18.
Sonique, of ‘It Feels So Good’ fame, and Tottenham-born Chipmunk, who has worked with artists including Chris Brown and Professor Green, visited the workshop launch yesterday.
