Schoolchildren joined the Borough Commander of Barnet Police to launch a CitySafe zone in Hendon yesterday.
Ayesha Community School in Montagu Road are among dozens of schools who are taking part in the CitySafe campaign which aims to crackdown on crime.
Young people are encouraged to work together with local businesses and police to help make sure 100 per cent of crime is reported.
Schoolgirls from Ayesha Community School met Chief Superintendent Adrian Usher and MP Matthew Offord before visiting businesses in West Hendon Broadway.
