Members of Barnet’s Alzheimer’s Society can get their hands dirty with a bit of therapeutic gardening.
The charity is looking for members to help develop and grow an allotment patch near its offices at the Edgware Community Hospital in Burnt Oak Broadway.
The society is hoping to grow vegetables, herbs, fruit and flowers and organisers say anyone wanting to get involved just needs "the enthusiasm to have a go and enjoy being in the open air".
The group will be meeting to discuss its plans for the plot on Thursday June 13, outside the offices, called Marillac at Stepping Stones.
For more information or to reserve a place, telephone the office on 0208 732 6750.
