A photography student who created a fashion shoot as a tribute to her late grandmother will have her work exhibited in central London.
Emma Barrow, 22, of Hendon has been chosen to exhibit her work at the Old Truman Brewery in Brick Lane from June 7 to June 10.
Emma, who studies at Middlesex University, took her pictures in her home town of Plymouth.
She said: “I have a few old photos of my nan in headscarves, hats and fur coats with one particular photo taken in Plymouth that inspired the collection.
“I enjoyed doing the photo shoot in Plymouth. Our unusual behaviour got a few strange looks, but I’m looking forward to seeing the final pieces at the exhibition.”
Emma hired professional models to pose for the photographs taken on the beachfront, Plymouth Hoe and the Barbican.
Her work will feature alongside Middlesex University’s final-year artists and designers in disciplines including fashion, animation, photography, product design, interior architecture, fine art, jewellery and illustration.
