Two men have been arrested in connection with a mass brawl in Finchley Central this morning that left five people in hospital.
Between ten and 15 men were involved in the altercation outside La Gogu bar, at the corner of Nether Street and Ballards Lane, at 5am.
Five men were taken to hospital following the fight, including two aged 27 and 25 who had suffered what police described as “life threatening or life changing” injuries.
Two men, aged 25 and 26, both of no fixed abode, have since been arrested in connection with the brawl, described by officers as “violent and horrific”.
Nether Street remains cordoned off between Ballards Lane and Crescent Road, and Ballards Lane has been closed to pedestrians on one side.
A number of businesses along Ballards Lane, including the North London Hospice charity shop, have been forced to close until the cordon is lifted.
