An amateur writers' club is holding its second annual literary festival later this month, with organisers hoping to build on the success of last year's debut.
The Greenacre Writers' Festival includes children's writing workshops, an open mic night and guest authors speaking about their work.
Anyone with an interest in writing, or those penning their own novels and short stories are invited to get involved on Friday 17 and Saturday 18.
Opening events will be held on the Friday at the Friern Barnet Community Library, in Friern Barnet Road.
The main festival takes place the following day at the Trinity Church Centre, in Nether Street, North Finchley, and features more than eight published authors.
