A new charity shop is looking for donations of furniture and electrical equipment it can put on sale when the branch opens later this month.
The British Heart Foundation is opening its new furniture and electrical store in High Road, North Finchley, on April 30 and is looking for stock to fill the shelves in the coming weeks.
The store will be the 160th charity shop of its kind when it opens and is looking to sell household goods like sofas, wardrobes, televisions and fridges.
The charity, which funds research into heart disease as well as patient care and life-saving equipment, can arrange to collect the goods from people’s homes for free if they book online.
To arrange a collection, telephone the store on 0844 848 9625 or visit bhf.org.uk/free.
