Hundreds of jobseekers attended an employment fair organised by Finchley and Golders Green MP Mike Freer.
A total of 22 employers set up stalls at the Green Man Community Centre, in East Finchley, to give opportunities to some of the 400 unemployed people that attended.
Conservative politician Mr Freer said it was great to see so many jobseekers trying so hard to find new employment at the fair, on Friday, March 15.
He said: “The feedback I got from employers, as well as those looking to become employees was really positive. There were over 250 jobs being advertised on the day, and I am confident lots of those vacancies will now be filled.”
