A spiritualist is planning a birthday celebration like no other as she prepares to have a plaster cast made of her derrière to raise money for charity.
Daredevil fundraiser Pollyanna Tucker has jumped out of a plane, shaved her head and walked over hot coals for charity, so this year she wanted to do something a bit different.
With the help of friends, the North Finchley woman will mark her 60th birthday on Sunday April 7 by making a mould of her bottom, before auctioning the cast in aid of Barnet Carers Centre.
Mrs Tucker, who is a medium and healer, said: “I’ve done everything else there is to do so I decided before my bottom goes south I’ll have it plastered.
"Film stars have their babies’ bums done so I thought why not – people say it’s one of my best assets. I’ve already got half a dozen men who are willing to buy it at auction.”
Mrs Tucker has already started fundraising for Barnet Carers Centre, which supported her while she was looking after her husband James Tucker before he died of pancreatic cancer in 2007.
She said: “The charity’s important to carers because it gives them days out – for me it was my only relief during the week.”
