Primary school children found themselves in chocolate heaven during a field trip to an old fashioned sweet shop.
Pupils from Moss Hall Infant School, in Moss Hall Grove, West Finchley, visited Mr Simm’s Olde Sweet Shoppe in North Finchley as part of a school project.
The five and six-year-olds are learning about the process of making chocolate before they create their own bars at school in the coming weeks.
They were shown dozens of different types of the confectionary during an outing to the High Street store on Thursday of last week.
Year group leader Azra Nath said: “They were very excited. The whole project is about learning research skills, planning and designing.
“It was their first trip out as a year group and they really enjoyed it. They can’t wait to get involved with the chocolate extravaganza in a couple of weeks.”
