Police would like to speak to these two people in connection with the mugging of a man in his eighties in a supermarket car park.
The pair at first appeared to be acting charitably towards their elderly victim, but had a more malevolent motive.
Officers have released the image of the suspects and are calling on anyone else who thinks they may have been victims of the con to come forward.
The pensioner was approached at 4.45pm by a man and a woman in the car park of Tesco, in Mutton Lane, Potters Bar, on February 18.
The couple told the victim he had dropped some money and, despite his insistence it was not his, gave him the cash.
The pair followed the man and minutes later asked for the money back. As he went to give them the money, they snatched his wallet and stole a credit card before running away.
The card was later used at three separate cash points in the area.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Hertfordshire Police on the non-emergency number 101.
