X-Factor finalist Melanie Masson met staff and volunteers at a coffee morning during a week of fundraisers for the North London Hospice.
The singer dropped in to the North Finchley hospice, in Woodside Avenue, where sales of home-made cakes and coffee made £239 for the charity.
Mother-of-two Melanie said she felt “honoured and humbled" to have been invited.
The morning fundraiser was held on Friday as part of North London Hospice Week, which raised more than £33,000 for the charity.
All of the money raised will pay for services at the hospice, which provides care and support for terminally ill people and their families in Barnet, Enfield and Haringey.
