A charity cake and wine evening raised hundreds of pounds to support vulnerable women around the world.
Oxfam raised £366 during the fundraiser at its High Street shop in High Barnet on Friday evening to mark International Women’s Day.
The event also provided a good opportunity to clear out stock before a big refurbishment that will close the branch for the next two weeks.
Shop manager Philippa Sivan said: “It was a great night. I’m very grateful to all the volunteers who made this event possible and all the customers who turned up to support us.
“All the money we raised will go towards Oxfam’s work for women.”
