With glitz, glamour and grace 11 couples took to the dance floor to give a dazzling performance in aid of North London Hospice tonight.
Following seven weeks of training with professional instructors the competitors showcased their new-found talent in front of a panel of judges in the Dancing Strictly finale at Millfield Theatre.
The couples received high praise for their show-stopping routines ranging from the sexy salsa to a romantic waltz.
But it was contestants Tom McClorry, 42, and Thelia Farago, 54, who topped the leaders’ board with their fast-paced cha cha cha.
Judges crowned Tom and Thelia king and queen of the dance floor, awardeding them their very own glitterball Dancing Strictly trophy.
Tom said: “I’m over the moon. It’s just an amazing feeling.”
As well as mastering their routines, each couple was tasked with raising at least £500 for North London Hospice.
Tonight's show, sponsored by the Times Series and Enfield Independent, helped raise a staggering £15,233 for the hospice which supports people with life-limiting illnesses.
