A brother and sister are hoping to dazzle judges in this week’s Dancing Strictly final in aid of North London Hospice.
Carmelina and Joe Musso will dance a jive to Rock Around the Clock as they compete against 10 other couples in the ballroom contest at Millfield Theatre on Saturday.
Carmelina, 37, from Barnet, said: “I’ve always wanted to do something for charity and to learn to dance the jive – so this was the perfect opportunity.
“It’s been exhausting practising all the time but we’re loving it. The audience can expect lots of spins and energy – it’s a very high tempo, bouncy routine.”
Joe, 35, from Enfield added: “It normally takes a few drinks to get me on the dance floor but this is all in aid of a good cause. We were struggling with the routine in the beginning but it’s coming together.
“I’m looking forward to the big night now – we’re just going to go out there and enjoy it and hopefully entertain the audience.”
As well as mastering their routine the pair also has to raise at least £500 for the hospice. To sponsor Carmelina and Joe click here.
