A charity providing presents to needy children across London will roll into Brent Cross tomorrow to begin its Christmas giveaway.
The Kindness Offensive bus will arrive at Brent Cross Shopping Centre with 150 volunteers ready to pack and wrap presents for busy shoppers.
Charity members will also be donating 200 presents to Barnet Council’s Children’s Service to match the 200 already provided by shoppers under the charities Christmas tree based in the centre.
Shopping centre owner Hammerson stepped in and pledged donations to the charity over the next two years after a corporate sponsor pulled out this year.
Last year, the charity delivered more than 4,000 presents to underprivileged children across the capital.
Volunteers will be wrapping presents at the centre’s Winter Wonderland from 1pm.
