Pupils and teachers donned their favourite festive jumpers to raise cash for a children's charity last Friday.
St Theresa’s RC Primary School in East End Road, Finchley, raised more than £200 for Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day.
Deputy headteacher Curtis Sweetingham said: “We decided to hold the event as advent is a special time for Christians as we wait to celebrate the birth of Jesus. It is a time to think of others who are more in need than ourselves."
Finchley and Golders Green MP Mike Freer judged the best-dressed teacher.
With the help of the schoolchildren, he crowned Mr Sweetingham King of the Jumper for his maroon pullover emblazoned with a reindeer and snowballs.
The cash raised at the festive event will support Save the Children’s work with some of the world’s poorest children.
