Car dealers have collected more than 200 boxes filled with festive presents for disadvantaged children this Christmas.
Donations have been flooding in to Dagenham Motors showroom in Edgware Road, Colindale, as part of their Operation Christmas Child appeal.
The appeal, set up by the Samaritan’s Purse, encourages people to give a shoebox filled with presents for children in hospitals, orphanages, refugee camps and homeless shelters around the world over the festive period.
Kevin Marsh, general manager at Dagenham Motors, said: “This is the seventh year that we have taken part in this appeal and we are delighted that we could help bring a little bit of extra happiness to so many children.”
