Organisers of a community Christmas event in North Finchley are hoping it will boost visitors to the town centre and its shops.
Tally Ho Ho Ho will include an appearance from Father Christmas, real life reindeer and public appearances from children’s cartoon character Peppa Pig.
Children can make Gruffalo badges in the artsdepot cafe and a small stage will be erected outside the building for musical entertainment. Other activities include cupcake decorating, wreath making, carol singing, face painting and street entertainment.
The event is a joint venture between the North Finchley Traders’ Association and Barnet Council and part funded by Boris Johnson’s Outer London Fund.
Activities take place from 10.00am until 4.00pm. For further details contact event organiser Sally Williams on 07889 173101.
