Primary school children are looking forward to a jolly festive visitor tomorrow at their annual Christmas fair.
Father Christmas will be dropping in on pupils at Golders Hill School, in Finchley Road, Golders Green, for the latest in a series of religious festival celebrations and visits this term.
Headteacher Amanda Eglash has organised events celebrating Thanksgiving, Diwali and the Muslim festival of Eid.
Barnet mayor Brian Schama also visited children at the school earlier this month to talk about his role at the council and give the pupils a go at wearing his chambers.
The school is hosting a Christmas fair tomorrow for pupils, parents and their wider families that will include stalls, a tombola, sweets and games.
Mrs Eglash said: “It has been a brilliant term. We look to celebrate every festival going. The mayor’s visit was great, the children enjoyed it immensely.
“Everyone is looking forward to the Christmas fair tomorrow and the visit of Father Christmas – the children are getting very excited.”
