Two men have died and a third left seriously injured after three separate road accidents.
At 8.40am on Sunday, Chanu Patel, 70, died when he was hit by a silver Ford Fiesta at the junction of Broadfields Avenue and Bullescroft Road, metres from the Edgware home he shared with his children.
Mr Patel was airlifted to Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel with head injuries, but later died. The driver was uninjured.
Collision investigator PC Ian Dale, who attended the scene, said: "We have spoken to one witness but he was known to the driver so it is important that we find independent witnesses."
Mr Patel's death comes after that of Polish national Grzegorz Berdowicz, 28, of Second Avenue, Hendon, who was killed when his motorbike collided with a vehicle in Great Central Way, Willesden, at around 4.25am on October 21. Mr Berdowicz was taken to Central Middlesex Hospital, but died shortly afterwards.
A woman, also 28, who was riding on the back of Mr Berdowicz's motorbike, suffered minor injuries.

A third serious accident, this time in Brent Cross, has left a 27-year-old man from Southall, west London, in a critical condition at Royal London Hospital.
The accident happened on October 13, at 4.45pm, at the junction of the A406 and A41.
The 27-year-old was flung from his motorbike when he collided with a black Audi TT. The female driver of the car was uninjured.
