I have seen the proposed plans for the regeneration of the Brent Cross and Cricklewood area. I am in favour of improvements and amenities but am a bit concerned about the infrastructure and services being in place ready to serve such a large influx of people living in and visiting the area.
I hope those whose homes are to be demolished will be moved to equal if not better accommodation.
I am worried that any new road proposed to run parallel to Claremont Road will be off-loading traffic onto the Cricklewood end of Claremont Road, making it even more congested at peak times.
I am also alarmed at the way Clitterhouse Playing Fields is proposed to be dissected and cluttered up, and I object most strongly to the presenters' assertion that the fields are not well used - they are.
The buildings at the top end could be renovated as changing rooms, with the need to build right in the middle of the field ruining its open aspect. The new green bits in the plan are postage-stamp size.
The beauty of Clitterhouse Playing Fields is its size and space - a large expanse of green grass and big sky with lovely sunsets. Please do not let it be spoilt.
Ms J Bensimon, Cricklewood
