GRAHAM Richard Charles (Graham's the name, Brokings the Game.) Passed peacefully and with dignity on the 28th of February at Barnet General Hospital Richard or Dick Graham to his many friends, a twin born in Dilston, Northumberland on August 3rd 1943 to parents Thomas and Dina. Dick was a bastion of the traditional broking business and specialised in American, Canadian and European equities. Having spent almost four decades for institutions such as Wood Gundy, The Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, Donaldson Lufkin and Jenrette and latterly Credit Suisse, he was a stalwart of the Moorgate watering holes and many deals were struck in the likes of the Old Butlers Head and the Rack and Tenter where the wheels of finance were kept in motion. Dick was a keen motorcycle enthusiast and could often be found at such sporting events as the Isle of Man TT and the Scottish 6 Days. He was also a keen yachtsman and aviator and enjoyed a good walk whilst playing golf in search of his ball. Dick is survived by his loving Wife of more than fifty years Frances and their two Sons Edward and Paul. A Catholic Funeral Service will be held at 11:30am on the 21st of March at Mary Immaculate and St Peter's Church, Somerset Road, New Barnet. This will be followed by a Cremation Service at New Southgate Crematorium. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to www.justgiving.com/page/richard-charles-graham-1710337145716 Richard's departure leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, but his spirit will live on in the fond and often humorous memories his legacy leaves behind. May he Rest in Peace.Your tribute has been received.
