Five years in the making, The Twist, the story of rock’n’roll from the early ‘50s to the late ‘60s, opens at the Radlett Centre on March 4.
The show, which features comedy, dancing, a live band, and “a selection of the finest singers, glitz and glamour you’ll see outside the West End” is the brainchild of Suzy Jari who has been working tirelessly selecting the right songs, writing the narrative and raising the finances to back the project.
The Theydon Bois-born actress has been a professional musician since 18 and most recently played the lead role of Kathy Kirby to packed houses in Secret Loves And Lipgloss.
A nostalgic night with music from Buddy Holly, Dusty Springfield, Billy Fury and Elvis Presley.
The Twist is at The Radlett Centre on March 4 at 8pm. Details: 01923 859291
