GILBERT & Sullivan’s comic opera The Yeoman of the Guard is the latest offering from Southgate Opera.
Set in the Tower of London, the story revolves around the wrongful imprisonment of Colonel Fairfax, strolling players, identity swapping, unrequited love and secret weddings.
Considered to have one of Sullivan’s finest scores, including I Have a Song to Sing, O! and When a Wooer Goes a Wooing.
