Jazz singer and former Mill Hill resident Melissa James is slowly but surely making a name for herself in the jazz clubs of London and in the music press – and this Saturday she is the featured artist on The Tom Robinson Show on BBC Radio 6 Music.
Melissa has performed with Tom Robinson on a number of occasions and has penned a track with him, Old Mother London. She will be taking to the stage again with the musician and broadcaster at The Green Note in Camden on Thursday, April 25, before the release of her latest single, Don’t You Keep Yourself Down, the following day.
Watch this space for a full interview with Melissa later in April, and read our interview with her from last year, ahead of the release of her debut album, Day Dawns.
