The Barnet Guild of Artists will once again be hosting its annual summer exhibition of arts, which allows both amateur and professional members of the guild to show off their works.
The event will be open for two weeks and will be opened by the Mayor of Barnet, Brian Schama.
The display will be held at Pennefather Hall in Barnet and offers patrons of the arts the opportunity to view an array of artists and styles ranging from local landscapes and portraits, to textile pieces and sculptures, all expressed in an assortment of media and materials.
There will also be a range of different mediums on display this year in the form of a focus on ceramic and glass work, as well as the more traditional watercolour and oil works.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to participate in some artwork of their own as activities from daily group painting sessions, to evening demonstrations on Tuesday and tutorials on Saturdays, which will cater for all abilities as well as ages.
The Barnet Guild of Artists was created in 1948 to offer an array of opportunities and facilities to local amateur and professional artists.
