An exhibition celebrating the popular Jewish attraction Muizenberg beach, in Cape Town, which pulled in the crowds like no other, is coming to north west London.
As attendants in Cape Town, Israel and Johannesburg can already attest, Memories of Muizenberg offers a spellbinding representation of the widely admired beach: one that uses personal photos and reminiscences to illustrate why more than 20,000 Jewish visitors flocked there in times gone by.
Memories of Muizenberg: 1900-1965, The Brief Summer of South African Jewry, is at the London Jewish Cultural Centre, Ivy House, North End Road, Golders Green until June 6. For details call 020 8457 5000.
