Yours is Mine by Amy Bird
Yours is Mine is a psychological novel about two women who exchange identities, written by Finchley Central writer Amy Bird.
Kate is a naive and lonely girl whose military husband is overseas, who enters into an identity exchange with Anna in a bid to get her spark back. Anna has her own, very different, reasons for wanting to do the exchange.
The story is told from both women’s points of view – what is truly driving each of them?
Amy has produced plays which have been performed in the borough, and Yours is Mine, which is set in north London, won her a three-book deal with Carina, a digital imprint of Harlequin, which is best known for the Mills & Boon brand.

The Extremist by Roger Pearce
With the Olympics been and gone, efforts to prevent Al Qaeda from launching a suicide attack on London have stilled. So when Detective Chief Inspector John Kerr intercepts two gold smugglers who have just murdered his fellow Special Branch agent, everyone is caught unawares.
Meanwhile, a gangster is hiding something, the wife of the Defence Secretary is brutally murdered, an eminent judge is executed, and the American Embassy is the target of a dirty bomb.
As the attacks escalate, Kerr confronts treachery and corruption from his own side and resorts to action as extreme as the dark forces working against him.

A Tale of Four Seasons by Carol Stokes Brigato and Susan Stokes Robert
This is a beautiful new picture book from sisters Carol Stokes Brigato and Susan Stokes Roberts, both from Cockfosters, about a woodland community of animals whose lives unfold as the seasons change.
The story is told through a family of red squirrels who live in an old oak tree, and encourages young readers to open their eyes to nature.
“We love to inspire children with interesting facts about nature and wildlife, which we both love,” say Carol and Sue.
“We hope our book will provoke interesting conversation regarding local wildlife and habitats. Children are our inspiration.”
