Dance king Pasquale La Rocca put 411 smiles on children’s faces when he performed at their school in Muswell Hill.
He gave six dance workshops at Our Lady of Muswell Primary School with the idea that there’s no better way to “beat the blues” than a bit of dancing.
He even persuaded the boys that dance was ‘cool’.
Pupils taking a break from the classroom jumped for joy at the special assembly in the school hall where he talked about his Guinness World Record of dancing the longest distance, alongside Dianne Buswell.
He won Belgium's Dancing with the Stars four times and competitions all over the world, as well as performing in Giovanni Pernice’s ‘Made in Italy’ tour, the youngsters heard.
One child asked what advice he would give to the new generation.
“Follow your dreams,” Pasquale urged. “Work hard and never give up. This is what I did and look where I am now.”
The children asked Pasquale to watch their dance and score it out of 10. He gave them top marks.
