Hendon saw off Hanwell Town 5-2 in their latest friendly yesterday. The hosts took the lead, but goals from Brian Haule, Yacine Hamada (2), Sam Berry and Lubomir Guentchev gave the Greens a comprehensive victory.

Alesha Dixon gives Southridge puppy a new home
IT was love at first sight when Alesha Dixon paid a visit to Southridge RSPCA Animal Centre. The singer saw a nine-week-old crossbreed puppy called Daisy at the centre, in Packhorse Lane, on July 18 and immediately decided to take her home.
