Barnet have released veteran striker Paul Furlong.

The club have just published their retained list and 41-year-old Furlong is among the names on it.

Also released are skipper Micah Hyde, as well as regulars Albert Jarrett and Kenny Gillet.

Fringe players Ryan O'Neill, Ahmed Deen, Joe Tabiri, Daniel Leach, Cliff Akurang and Luke Medley are also on it.

The release of Ismail Yakubu, Jake Hyde and Nicky Deverdics had already been announced.

However, new boss Mark Stimson may decide he wants to keep some of the released players. The retained list had to be announced before Stimson was appointed manager.
