Goalkeeper Ravan Constable has left Barnet with Martin Allen declaring he wasn’t suitable to make the step-up to the first team.
The Jamaican stopper joined the Bees on a non-contract basis last month. But he was only named in the matchday squad for one game – at Luton Town – before disappearing again. Kai McKenzie-Lyle has since deputised for Jamie Stephens.
Last month Allen revealed when asked by the Times Series the former Cockfosters keeper had been late for the home draw with Morecambe and he was undecided whether he would retain the player.
He said: “Ravan failed to turn up until late for the Morecambe game.
"He’s non contract so it’s still up in the air what we will do with him."
However, the young stopper has since left The Hive. Allen told the Times Series: “Ravan was let go a couple of weeks ago.
“He’d been training with Ross Eames with the Under-21s but we didn’t think he’d be suitable to make the step up.
“He’s a good lad and he trained hard but he’s no longer with us.”
