A youthful Barnet side progressed to the third round of the Herts Senior Cup after they eased to a 4-1 victory against Hatfield Town.
Jon Nurse put the Bees ahead after 22 minutes as the striker reacted quickly to poke home after goalkeeper Neil Cheek was unable to hold on to a strike.
Iffy Allen doubled the advantage soon after as the winger broke through the Hatfield defence, rounded Cheek and slotted home.
Barnet then grabbed a third goal late into the opening 45 minutes as Yasin Benel-Mhanni curled a free-kick over the wall and into the net.
Hatfield started the second period brightly and Nick Jupp had to be alert to deny the visitors on two occasions.
But the Bees stopper was beaten as Samson King tapped the ball in from close range.
Jupp was busier in the second period but performed well while Benel-Mhanni rattled the crossbar from another free-kick.
The win was rounded off in the final moments as Nurse grabbed his second of the contest when he fired a shot into the corner.
