HENRIETTA Barnett School in Hampstead Garden Suburb has been named state secondary school of the year.
Headteacher Oliver Blond praised staff and pupils for their hard work and dedication after the school was given the top spot by The Sunday Times.
Mr Blond said: “We are indebted to the outstanding teachers who commit so much of their time and enthusiasm to the school. We are also incredibly proud of the girls here and what they have achieved."
In August the school achieved A-level results with 98.4 per cent of the girls gaining A* to B grades.
