A GROUP of residents has launched the Cricklewood Improvement Programme to take an active role in the development of the community.
Cricklewood covers Barnet, Brent and Camden, and CIP plans to work with councillors, traders and police from each borough to make sure the area is developed as one neighbourhood.
The programme was initiated by Cricklewood Homeless Concern and is run by the charity alongside residents and local traders.
The key issues the group aims to target include anti-social behaviour, people drinking alcohol in the street, graffiti, street lighting and refuse.
Bafta award-winner Fergal Keane officially launched CIP last Tuesday.
