Alasdair Hill wants to see another referendum to decide the Brexit deal, a larger number of more affordable homes and more transparency about the West Hendon estate regeneration.
The Liberal Democrat candidate and Alexandra Park School director of studies original hails from Scotland and moved to the constituency in 2012.
Mr Hill said he would “take Theresa May to task” on Brexit negotiations, and will fight to stay in the single market for economic stability and a second referendum.
He said: “Constitutional change needs to be ratified by the people.
"It’s such a major issue I think it’s only democratic to have a second referendum.”
Mr Hill supports the Liberal Democrats’ “ambitious” housing plan with 300,000 new homes, including affordable and social housing, and a rent to own scheme for first-time buyers.
On the West Hendon estate development, he said: “Transparency has been the biggest issue.
"It’s been very murky and if I was an MP I would be insistent that the council made things more open.”
Mr Hill wishes to see a reverse on cuts to schools and a “real term” increase to funding through a rise on corporation tax.
Mr Hill is also concerned the council “have continued to gut libraries” and the need to preserve a meaningful use for them.
