A CAR FIRE on the M25 was dealt with quickly by fire fighters from Potters Bar.
No one was injured when a car caught fire on the clockwise carriageway between Junction 23 for Hatfield South Mimms and 24 for Potters Bar on Sunday afternoon.
One engine from Potters Bar Fire and Rescue attended the scene along with two from St Albans Fire and Rescue after receiving a call at 2.09pm.
The teams, who required breathing apparatus to help them deal with the blaze, declared the area safe at 2.42pm and normal traffic resumed after delays.
