THAMESLINK rail services have been rated the worst for customer satisfaction in 2015.
The company, which runs services in Cricklewood, Hendon and Mill Hill Broadway, trailed behind other operators including Southern, East Midlands Trains and TfL Rail in a recent survey.
The analysis was carried out by Commute London, an app which judges how well train lines are performing by tracking what commuters are saying on social media.
In first place was East Coast, with Virgin Trains East Coast coming in second, and Virgin Trains in third place.
In a statement, a spokesman for Thameslink said: “In 2015, the punctuality of our services was not good at times and we apologise sincerely to our passengers for this.
"Performance was affected by a series of infrastructure problems, train faults and train crew resourcing issues.
“We assure our passengers that with Network Rail, we are working very hard on improving our performance to more acceptable levels and our Joint Improvement Plan with Network Rail focuses on the reliability of track, power and signalling systems together with GTR’s driver recruitment and training programme.”
