People will be treated to the curious sight of Mad Hatters, the Queen of Hearts and Alice in Wonderland at a tea party to raise money for brain tumour research.
Karen Carter-Bates and Dean Bates, of Warrens Shaw Lane, Edgware, have organised the event at the Royal British Legion, in Parnell Close, Edgware, on Saturday.
The couple are holding the event in aid of Charlie Charges On, which they launched in memory of their seven-year-old son, Charlie, who died of a brain tumour four years ago.
The party will include a range of children’s entertainment and face painting.
People are also able to attend without a ticket to enter the raffle draw and find out more about the charity.
The party will run from 3pm to 5pm. Childs tickets cost £5 and adults are free, but must be booked in advance by emailing Charliechargeson@gmail.com
